Best Acoustic Guitar Songs - TOP 10

So as far as Acoustic guitar songs go...we all have the dreaded fear of someone playing "Wonderwall" around the camp fire.

As a guitarist myself, I am always at the ready to throw an empty beer bottle, whiskey bottle, brandy bottle, log straight from the fire, small pet or literally anything close by at the IDIOT who decides to play "Wonderwall"! The Gallagher brothers must be spinning in their proverbial graves because of the complete and utter slaughter of one of their songs.

Don't get me wrong, I think it's a great piece of music but hell, when Frikkie from Brakpan starts playing it in the key of B# and the lyrics are sung like this:

"Taday is gunna be ve day vat we gunna frow it back to yu"..

I am all but ready to deny that I've ever played guitar and I would rather tell people I am a bagpipes expert.

And don't judge me that I have found myself at the same party as Frikkie on numerous occasions...the dude kills when it come to telling jokes ok!

But here's the question...does "Wonderwall" actually make the cut as one of the top 10 played acoustic guitar songs of all time?!?!?!? Unfortunately....it does:-(

But what about the remaining 9 songs?

Now this list is everything but set in stone, but through my 25 years of playing guitar, these are what I've found are the favorites...and yes...I have committed the cardinal sin of playing each and every one of them (I've actually played all of them around the same camp fire in a single sitting).

Now before you take me to task and discriminate against my complete lack of self respect...answer me this...How many have you played around the camp fire, in a music shop or at a party? Have you also committed the number one sin as a guitarist? Are there any other songs which you feel should rather be in the top 10?
